Wine Bottle Table Lamp
Crafting the Wine Bottle Table Lamp
Main Body: Formed by steam bending a solid oak plank, featuring an inlaid bloodwood cover to elegantly conceal the wiring.
Hardware & Fittings: The bulb socket and shade attachments were custom-crafted on a lathe using a combination of cherry and bloodwood.
Shades: Created by repurposing and cutting wine bottles to a specific size.
Foundation: The base consists of metal mesh reinforced concrete, which was hand-sanded, polished, and sealed for a smooth finish.
Support: The entire piece sits on a stand made of lathe-turned cherry wood with bloodwood feet.
Custom Controls: A bespoke brass dimmer switch and knob were integrated into the back of the concrete base.
Finishing: Every wooden component was professionally sealed and finished to ensure durability.

Lampshade: Crafted from Paulownia wood strips with a light wood veneer interior lining.
Planter: Hand-cast from gypsum cement featuring a decorative white-tinted epoxy rim.
Sealing: The planter is finished with an epoxy coating to ensure it is water-tight for indoor plants.
Electronics: A touch-sensitive, three-way light switch is integrated directly into the back of the wooden base.
Reclaimed Wood Beam Chandelier
Reclaimed Wood Beam Chandelier Construction
Timber Preparation: Features a handmade reclaimed wood beam as the central structure.
Shou Sugi Ban Finish: The wood was treated using the traditional Japanese shou sugi ban technique—charring and sanding the surface to create high contrast and highlight the natural grain.
Lighting: Includes four recessed 3000K soft white LED lights with an aged bronze finish edging; the lights are fully dimmable.
Mounting System: Utilizes a steel rod with a one-sided hinge on the long side, allowing the fixture to be installed on either flat or angled ceilings.
Protective Coating: The beam is finished with a smooth satin coating, while the metal hardware features a matte finish.

Structure: Created from a sliced section of a natural log paired with a weighted rough granite cube base.
Assembly: Features stainless steel accents at the attachment points and a stainless steel plate for the leg assembly.
Legs: Hand-shaped from an exotic hardwood and secured to the stone with decorative screws.
Lighting & Controls: Uses an integrated dimmable LED light strip controlled by a touch-sensitive dimming switch built directly into the granite.
Wiring: The power cord is designed to exit discreetly from the bottom of the stone base.
Driftwood Planter Lamp

Body & Base: The main structure is a sycamore driftwood branch mounted to a base made of cherry lumber.
Glass Elements: Both the lampshade and the planter were created by repurposing a glass bottle, which was cut and had its edges smoothed.
Wire Management: The electrical cord is hidden through strategically drilled holes inside the branch.
Decorative Details: Any intentionally exposed sections of the cord are wrapped in jute twine and permanently glued for a rustic aesthetic.
Finishing: All wood is treated and protected with a blend of drying oils and beeswax.
Switching: Includes an inline rotary cord switch located near the back of the branch.
